Turbiville Challenge to Alumni

Don and Susan Turbiville, alumni of Hot Springs High School, are gifting $10,000.00 to the Hot Springs High School Hall of Fame. Turbiville Challenge to Alumni and Community.

With the gift amount of $10,000.00 Don and Susan are challenging alumni and supporters of the community to join in donating to the Hall of Fame. For every $2.00 donation, $1.00 of their gift will be used for a match up to $10,000.00

The Turbiville’ s – Don, Class of ‘73 and Susan (Hagen), Class of ’74, want to recognize the positive influence Hot Springs had on their careers and lives through their experiences of living, learning, and competing in the community. Additionally, Don and Susan would like their gift to be a memorial to Dick Turbiville who was a coach and educator within the Hot Springs school system from 1970 thru 1975. Don and Susan have fond memories of their years in the community and encourage others to support the Hot Springs Hall of Fame.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Hot Springs High School Alumni Hall of Fame is to award, honor and give formal public recognition to graduates of Hot Springs High School who have made significant and enduring contributions to athletics.

The aim is to nurture existing interest and generate renewed interest in the achievements of school alumni, promote and maintain the school’s positive image in the community, enhance school spirit and encourage students with these successes.

The Hall of Fame is asking Alumni to support the first inaugural Hall of Fame inductees schedule for the weekend of October 7th. If you are able to contribute please send your gift to:

Please make your check payable to HS Booster Club. On the memo line please note Hall of Fame. All contributions are tax-deductible. Contributors will be mailed a receipt for their donation. Your contribution will help support the Hall of Fame, School activities, School Projects, and Community Projects.
